Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary Program
The Ridges Golf & Country Club is a Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary. The Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary Programs promote ecologically sound land management and the conservation of natural resources through education and certification programs that are tailored to a diversity of land uses within communities, including: homes, corporate and business properties, golf courses, cemeteries, schools, universities, residential communities, and other types of properties and land uses. Participation helps people plan, organize, implement, and document a comprehensive environmental management program and receive recognition for their efforts.
The Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary Programs (ACSP) emphasize six core areas.
- Planning for Success
- Conserving and Protecting Water
- Reducing Waste
- Enhancing and Protecting Wildlife and their Habitats
- Resource Conservation
- Reaching Out

The area between the signs is the only area designated for “catch and release” fishing on #8 lake. For safety reasons we do not allow fishing anywhere else on the lake. Please be advised that this area is for members only.

This sign can be found at number one tee and is posted on days in which pesticides are broadcast applied to the golf course.

This sign is posted at both one and ten tee. Be advised that the black stakes found throughout the golf course do nothing more than identify native areas. There is no local rule in effect, therefore USGA rules apply.
